The length of the ark was 450 ft (one and a half football fields) – No small boat
One ark, one door, one way to come to God and be saved
The ark represents salvation.

1 Peter 3:20 God waited for Noah to build the ark.
Noah had faith. He believed that he and his family could only be saved by God.
God said COME into the ark. COME in TO ME.

The Lord shut the door. Noah didn’t have to shut the door.
God shut the door and Noah was secure in the ark (his salvation)

After God shut the door, the rain (His judgment) began.
Vs. 20 The mountains were covered.

We listen to the stories of the Old Testament and even believe them but never really apply the truths that God is revealing. They reveal to us the very character of God.
–God hates sin.
–God is patient.
–God desires for all to be saved.
–God’s judgment is swift and sure.
–God is gracious in His care and salvation for all who come to Him by faith.
